WP7 ZIKA-SYN
ZIKA-SYN was a shared WP between all three EU-funded ZIKV consortia that aimed to harmonize shared activities, including:
- 1) Harmonization of protocols and standardization of tools for pregnant women and children cohort studies
- 2) Setting up sharing of core data between three consortia as proof of concept and creating roadmap for more extensive data sharing.
This WP was led by University College London, with partners from the other EU-funded ZIKV consortia co-leading.
Specific tasks in this WP included setting up platforms for reciprocal clinical monitoring, joint laboratory diagnostics EQA, and joint virtual biobanking, monitoring patient enrolment across geography, and contributing to an IPD meta-analysis of pooled datasets.
